How to Request Help or Contribute with Ekjut Nepal

A step-by-step guide to asking Ekjut Nepal for medical, education, emergency or other help, or joining its registry to contribute.

People working together through community volunteering

Ekjut starts with a simple connection: tell us what is needed, or tell us how you can help. This guide explains both.

If you need help

Anyone can submit a request: an individual, a family, a community or an organisation. Open the request form and share:

  1. Your name and contact details, including a phone or WhatsApp number and your location.
  2. Who needs help: an individual, family, community or organisation.
  3. The kind of help needed: medical, education, emergency or disaster, food and essential support, financial or resource support, transport and logistics, or something else.
  4. What exactly is needed. The more clearly you describe the situation, the faster the right person can be found.
  5. How urgent it is: not urgent, needs attention soon, urgent, or emergency.

Each request is reviewed and verified before help is mobilised. This protects both the people asking and the people giving. Read how the process works.

If you want to contribute

Join the voluntary Ekjut registry. You do not need money to make a difference. You can offer:

  • Time and volunteering
  • Professional skills or expertise
  • Medical or healthcare support
  • Education and mentorship
  • Transport and logistics
  • Resources or financial support
  • Business and entrepreneurship guidance
  • Introductions to people who can help

If you have worked with Chirag Goyal or the wider team before, during the earthquake, COVID-19, the floods or any other effort, tell us about it. Ekjut wants to recognise people who have already shown up, so their contribution is not lost over time.

Which project will you be part of?

Your skills may fit one or more of Ekjut's four projects: Disaster & Immediate Assistance, Project Sanjivani, Project Kuhiro and Project Udyam.

What happens next

When a genuine need matches what you can offer, the team will contact you. You choose whether and how to take part.
